Overland Park Regional Medical Center Mother Baby Waiting Room

About the Project

We recently pulled an “overnighter” to repaint the Mother Baby waiting room at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. It had to be overnight, because the amount of traffic that moves through during the day makes it impossible to do something as disruptive as painting a whole room. We coordinated with the on-staff painter at the hospital, who did the drywall repair for us to give us a boost since the project had to be finished and ready for use early in the morning. He also helped make sure that the materials were available so we could start at 9pm sharp. We did a “refresh coat” to the lighter colored walls, spot priming the drywall repair to ensure proper sheen build, and then put on 2 full coats of the new, darker accent color. The color change really helped make the space feel a little more contemporary, the perfect place for friends and family to wait for new arrivals.
