We painted this Lawrence home for a very discerning customer. The old T-111 siding was peeling, as well as the cedar battens and fascia, so we scraped the house thoroughly over about 2 days with 3 painters scraping. We even replaced a rotten fascia board. After everything was taken down to a sound surface, we rolled an exterior oil-based primer on the exposed and new wood with a heavy nap roller to work the product into the wood. Our team then repaired stretched or missing caulk to prevent moisture intrusion.

With everything thoroughly prepared, we then applied to coats of Benjamin Moore Moorgard Lo Lustre exterior paint with brushes and rollers only, as per the customers’ request. Having taken the shutters off at the outset of the project, we took them to our shop where we made use of a rainy day by setting up our spray booth and spraying a nice, fresh coat on them. We brought them back and reinstalled them at the end. This mature home looks young again, thanks to Absolute Painting!
